Our high white snow capped peaks reflect a calm and meditative light which can lead you towards tranquility. Trek for Peace organization would like to lead you to a place where you can find the inner peace in your heart, mind and soul. Let your feet follow your heart, to quiet hills, thundering waterfalls, deep forests, and the magnificent Himalayas.
The greatest need in human kind is inner peace, peace in our soul. Peace describes a social harmony throughout personal and international relations. A quest for peace is essential for all of humanity.
Unlike the other trekking companies you find in every street of Kathamandu, Treks for Peace is a non-profit organization. We aim to live a life of service to our fellow human beings and bring peace to the hearts and minds of those we come in contact with. Our cause is two-fold.
* We wish to bring peace, happiness and joy to you, taking you to mountains of Nepal. Many have ventured here in persuit of peace, understanding and enlightenment. We hope you are changed by your experience and carry the light of the Himalayas with you to every corner of the world.
* Our team also wants to contribute and care for our homeland and the Nepalese people. Our profits are donated towards rural development in Nepal, and our founding members donate their own time as well, to education, health and development projects in the villages. We use the resources brought from tourism for causes like womens empowerment, education and scholarships, and environmental awareness and preservation.
